Saturday Scribes Writing Prompt: Aug. 29th

To quote Charles Bukowski:

ah, the swift summers
over and gone
forever!

is that death
stalking me
now?

no, it’s only my cat,
this
time.

Summer’s nearing its end here in the Great White North, the bright red-gold days and chill windy nights of autumn just around the corner. Think I’ll take my notebook outside today, soak up a few of those late-summer rays.

Theme: The Five Senses
